If you have not entered the Buckle Series yet, you may enter when you check in for this event.
Participants in the CSHA Region 5 Obstacle Challenge awards program are required to help at one event, and you may still compete in that event. We are in need of set-up crew Friday evening and Sat morning, obstacle helpers, take down crew Sunday afternoon, someone to set up the raffle, and some general helpers.
If you are not an Obstacle Challenge Region member be sure to join CSHA and CSHA Region 5 Obstacle Challenge when you check in so that these events will be counted to towards qualifying for the State Championship.
Please bring an item for the raffle! It can be horse related, such as a bottle of horse shampoo or brush, but it doesn’t have to be. Craft and food items are popular as are small items of jewelry, household items, and miscellaneous things.
I was delighted with the handheld bug zapper I scored in last weekend’s Trail Trials raffle! It’s a good way to rehome items that you want out of your house while helping our OC program (which is part of CSHA, a 501C3).
This raffle will help fund our end of season awards. The more money we raise, the nicer the awards will be! Every member will receive an awarded item in addition to awards for overall placement in your best three OC events.
We are limiting entries to 35 to ensure that we finish before dark, and it is getting late for mailing in your entries. Therefore, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call me at 510-506-2600 to check for space. As of now, there is plenty of space, but I expect a flood of last-minute entries.
I look forward to seeing you this weekend at our Dog Days of Summer Obstacle Challenge!
